"Emotions are messengers designed to inform us. They are persistent and will not leave us alone until we have felt them and acknowledged them. When emotions are ignored, pushed away and repressed, they will likely cause mental and physical ailments.
I use a psychosomatic approach to therapy, which addresses both the mind and the body, to release emotional blockages and allow energy to flow freely. In our sessions, I will make space for your narrative while consistenly bringing you back to an awareness of your body to ensure that the processing does not only happen at a mental level. I utilize embodied, meditative and contemplative practices to enable a cathartis, and I will teach you tools to regulate your nervous system to foster a sense of safety within.
Having been on the receiving end of therapy, I know that it can be intimidating. If you decide to undertake this journey with me, my commitment to you is to meet you where you are, to put your needs first and to strive to co-create with you a relational space that is reliable, safe and compassionate. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. I am also a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a Therapeutic Yoga Teacher. Being a native of France, I can offer services in both English and French."
